Can't beat the value!: Is this paddle the best one on the market in any one way? No, probably not. But the power is impressive, the spin potential is better than expected, and the 15mm core lends itself to fantastic control. Versix Raw 15mm: I had very high hopes for this paddle. Unfortunately, it did not meet those hopes. First of all the good things: great spin, good swing weight, looks cool. Bad things: too much pop, hard to dink with, hard to reset with, short handle (if you use a two handed backhand). I think if this paddle was 16mm it would be phenomenal. I think it’s just too thin to have the necessary control a higher level player needs.
