Awesome Paddle: I love this paddle. It is the perfect balance for me of power and control. And I prefer a lighter paddle and this weight allows for great fire fights....and the price is great@ Proves you don't have to pay $200+ to get a good paddle.
From 5 Stars to 4 Stars, then back to 5 Stars: I called Pickleball Central around 6 months ago and spoke with a really nice young lady named Anastasia.
I told her something along the lines of "I really like my current paddle, but I'd like a new paddle that will feel about the same in my hands but will give me more power and more spin."
Anastasia recommended the Versix Raw 6C+, and it was exactly what I wanted - the grip, weight and swing were almost identical to my previous paddle, but it
My favorite paddle: my favorite out of 5 that i own, dimensions are perfect to me, 4.75 player, I like this 5.75 handle better than 5.5 in because it cuts through air slightly but noticeably faster while it still has a large face, to me a 5.5 in handle is too short and can't fit my 2hbh, I like Versix's 15mm better than my vatic's 14mm and 16mm because my 14mm has no control, nice pop, the negative is that it loses 5% of its pop after 2 months of heavy play and then it doesn't lose pop after th
Great Paddle: I’ve used various paddles over the years. This paddle offers great stability, touch, power, and my favorite SPIN. Hands down the best paddle for the $$. So good I bought a second one.
Versix paddle: Has a nice grip, light has some pop but I would say it’s not for the power player. This is more for the player who likes to control the ball and precise style of play.
Paddle: Love it!
Worth the $$$$: I took off one star since there is no 16mm version. Love the control, spin and power. Is it too much to ask for another 16mm version?
After one week, I'm impressed with the spin, control and power (not my top concern) for the money. Granted, none of us has any track record of its durability. It's definitely a top value contender for a carbon paddle.
Versix raw 6C+ paddle: I just bought this paddle and now it’s on a massive sale. I’m considering returning mine and buying it again at the much lower price.***PBC Response*** Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! Great upgrade paddle: I am a 3.25 player and this paddle has helped my game. I feel like the longer handle gives me more control and reach in both forhand and backhand. It feels a little soft when returning a hard hit ball but overall I really like this paddle.
Heavily tested before review…: Came to pickleball from long background in racquetball. First paddle ever owned and wanted something in elongated shape. This paddle played well but the durability was not great. Had the rim on both sides of paddle break apart within 2.5 months of intermittent play. Seemed like a good value at time of purchase but I will try another brand and model before this one again. ***PBC Response*** Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! We know that not every paddle
Can't beat the value!: Is this paddle the best one on the market in any one way? No, probably not. But the power is impressive, the spin potential is better than expected, and the 15mm core lends itself to fantastic control. Add it all up, and the retail price of under $110 pretty much can't be beat. This is a LOT of paddle for that money and totally worth your consideration.
Versix Raw 15mm: I had very high hopes for this paddle. Unfortunately, it did not meet those hopes. First of all the good things: great spin, good swing weight, looks cool.
Bad things: too much pop, hard to dink with, hard to reset with, short handle (if you use a two handed backhand).
I think if this paddle was 16mm it would be phenomenal. I think it’s just too thin to have the necessary control a higher level player needs.
Really like it!: I have been playing for 3 1/2 years and am a 4.5 and changing from a ProLite Titan Pro to this.
I have now had this paddle for 2 months of regular play with it. This feels like an upgrade. The ProLite has a smooth face and I wanted to try a paddle with a rough face. What I have noticed between the 2 paddles is this puts more spin on the ball, has more power or pop when I want to speed things up, but doesn't lose the soft touch of the ProLite. I also feel like control is a
Excellent Paddle: This is a very nice paddle for the cost! Got it on sale and it came with a nice paddle cover. If you're looking for newer technology without breaking the bank this is a great find. Love playing with this carbon fiber paddle.
Great paddle for both control and spin: I started with the Graphite PX paddle which I still have and is great but decided to upgrade to an elongated carbon fiber face paddle. This met my requirements of a grippy surface face and longer handle. Also improved my spin serves. Happy with my game and purchase!
Paddle review: Love the recent purchase. Good feel, lots pop, easy change of paddle. Like the longer handle. Easy to change hands
Paddle: Disappointed at the carbon fiber paddle. It doesn’t have the power and control a carbon fiber paddle usually has and it’s thin and too light. ***PBC Response*** Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! Great paddle : I have used lots of different paddles over 44 years of playing pickleball! This paddle is so sweet! Lots of power for serves and attacks! Great control for placement and net play. I am so pleased with the extra length for reach and added leverage. The weight is perfect for quick play at the net! The paddle face surface is incredible for adding spin to your game. I started playing when the only paddles were wood. Now the game has been changed by high quality paddles that can enhanc
Worth money: I used this paddle for around 3 weeks .
I am also using carbon fiber paddle from other companies which cost around $250+.
I like the elongated paddle shape and the paddle surface looks same as other carbon fiber paddles. Paddle response is almost same.
All this time I was using 6" width paddle and this being thinner by a slight margin, I had to adjust a little to get used to it.
Overall I rate this paddle 5* considering cost and durability.
Now the deal looks much sweeter wit
paddle review: nice solid paddle. I like the extra length. good control
Perfect Price Point for Pickleball Paddle Perfection: So I have been playing with this paddle for a few weeks now and I have to say that I am still really happy with the way this paddle plays. It definitely plays like a more expensive paddle! Although there are definitely paddles with more "pop", this one has plenty WITH great feel and control. If you want an upgrade from your entry level paddle you been hacking around with, this is it!
Similar to JOOLA 16mm: I really like my new Versix Raw paddle. Seems very similar to my Joola 16mm paddle. Nice gritty surface. Only thing I would like to see is a little thicker handle. I put an overwrap tape on it and it is perfect.
VERSIX RAW has nice spin: Very solid feel with good power and an excellent grip. Nice spin.
Power, Control, and Reach: The perfect combination of power and control. The longer handle and elongated face allow me to get to more balls.
Well Balanced and Grippy: Played with it a few times, love the feel when ball comes off the face, great spin. nice weight and well balanced. I personally enjoy the length of the handle and grippy feel of the wrap.
The Price is Right!: This is a very good paddle, I was looking for a carbon paddle with good feel, this fits the bill. The weight is great so I could add as needed. The price Is right!
Reach and Spin!: I love the elongated handle for the extra reach. Puts a decent spin in ball too.
As Good As Much More Expensive Paddles: Every bit as good and performing as the $250.00 paddle I bought a couple of months ago.
I Love the Versix Raw: I love the size, shape, weight and grip. The paddle handles well indoor and out.
Great Paddle!: Great control, spin, and power.
Increased Confidence: My confidence immediately increased after the first couple of games with VERSIX RAW
Plays Like A Much More Expensive Paddle!: I received my paddle in the mail and immediately took off to the courts! I could tell from the first match the incredible difference between this and other paddles I have used. My wife had just received another name brand (expensive) paddle and there were NO comparisons! My Versix RAW paddle was incredible. The power, control, and feel were amazing! I was able to put the ball where I wanted. I would highly recommend this paddle to both beginners and adva
Versix Raw: Great paddle with handle long enough for 2 hands. I wish it came with a cover
Paddle: Paddle has good hand speed at the net. Spins well. Resets and blocks really well. Has enough power did add lead tape. Control is good.
Versix raw 6c paddle: I am very happy with feel of this paddle. The amount of spin is outstanding. My previous paddle cost twice as much. Anyone looking for value in a paddle, this is the one to buy.
versix: Works really well for me.
Nice Paddle: This seemed to be a pretty balanced paddle, but for me it was a little to heavy and for some reason I had a hard time creating topspin with it.
Versix Raw 6C: An outstanding paddle for the price. Great control , great spin potential, and it has the power when I need it. The large sweet spot is an added plus!
