The Vanguard Is Without Compare: Nobody has supported us players wanting a short-handled paddle more than Selkirk with the Omni. The paddle was designed by the Amazing Glen Peterson to maximize the surface area available for a player to use. I use a finger up (table tennis style) grip, and find this to be the best defensive paddle I've ever used. The fact that you can get this paddle in a 7.5oz range is astounding!

Great paddle: This is a great paddle. I’m an intermediate rec player that’s only been playing about 3 months. I have a similar shape paddle by Electrum. But I prefer this one. It absorbs the ball at the net so we’ll in defensive moments and can achieve great top spin when applied. I personally like the shorter paddle handle as it feels more connected to me, like an extension of my arm…. not just something I’m holding. I know this isn’t the new S2.
