Six Zero Ruby Pro Pickleball Paddle

94Universal Acclaim

The Six Zero Ruby Pro receives exceptional praise for its outstanding spin capabilities and grip, with reviewers calling it the best paddle they've tested in years. It combines the performance characteristics of popular predecessors like the DBD with added Kevlar durability, though budget-conscious players may prefer the cheaper DBD alternative if spin isn't a priority.

This feels like two of my favorite paddles—the Pickleball Apes Pro Line Energy S and the Six Zero DBD—had a baby. The Ruby is basically the DBD with a Kevlar® face. It gets great spin too, so will appeal particularly to spin players. If that's not you, though, I'd recommend sticking with the cheaper DBD as both are great all-court performers.
