Ruby review: Spectacular all around paddle. There is nothing I don't like about it. I thought the weight would be a potential detriment but it wasn't an issue. You can't go wrong with the Ruby!

This feels like two of my favorite paddles—the Pickleball Apes Pro Line Energy S and the Six Zero DBD—had a baby. The Ruby is basically the DBD with a Kevlar® face. It gets great spin too, so will appeal particularly to spin players. If that's not you, though, I'd recommend sticking with the cheaper DBD as both are great all-court performers.
