Next Level: I bought the racket as an upgrade to my first pickleball paddle. The intention is to use this for intermediate play. I was concerned that the XL would be disruptive and I would need to adjust, but the transition has been seamless. I can't say I see a noticeable improvement in my game. I think paddle technology is best for advanced level and a solid racket like this is sufficient for most recreational players. Don't spend the extra money until you're ready and committed.
