Great All-Around Paddle: I've been playing for around a month and wanted to upgrade to something that would last me a bit longer and have better performance than an entry-level paddle from a sporting goods store. This paddle gave me a lot more control and has a decent amount of pop. Near the edges the paddle feels a little dead but that is likely more user error and shot placement. Great spin and durable surface.

2nd EX-L paddle: This is my second EX-L . I liked the first one so much I purchased a second one 6 months after my first. The second paddle is the same weight and model number but could not play any different. It has no pop no soft game feel. It is like a totally different paddle. I ended up giving it away. I am a little disappointed in the manufacturing.

Bantam EX-L Paddle: 4.0, 50+ women's player. Love this paddle! I switched over to Paddletek a year ago starting with the Phoenix Genesis Pro and now the Bantam EX-L Great power and ball response. My paddle weight came in at 7.8. I added lead tape because I like a heavier paddle and like to select what the weight will be at any given time.

2nd paddle: This paddle replaced a Paddletek I'd had for 5 years. It is the same paddle but 7.9 oz compared to 8.3 oz for the old paddle. Because this paddle is lighter I am having great difficulty adjusting to the difference. I wish there was a field when ordering paddles that would allow for putting a weight to request. Many of the paddles show a weight range and it seems the way it is now your at the discretion of the "picker" to the weight that is sent. I am looking for a heaver Bantam

Nice control: I’m not the most technically sound player but I have been playing for over a decade. This paddle is everything I wanted. It’s lighter than my older paddle, grips the ball better for creating spin and is still pretty powerful. I’m able to control the ball slightly better than before. So really a great purchase.

Just as good for 4x the price!!: My wife bought a Pickleball starter set by Amazing Aces on Amazon. I think I got four paddles and two balls for $100. every time I play with more advanced players they tell me I should get a better paddle. after a year of hearing this I finally decided to see if there was any difference. Bought this one for $100. Perhaps it has made me 3% better but who knows. The grip is slightly more comfortable as the amazing aces paddles handgrips are more squarish compare
