Onix Z5 graphite paddle: A lot of bang for the buck. Like it so far. Has some serious pop, which I noticed on the first return of serve. Was an easy adjustment after that. The added power is helpful for any 3.0-3.5 player who doesn’t want to break the bank for a new weapon.
Decent: It's fine if you like a paddle that tends heavy and wide. I'm glad I tried it because it helped me clarify that a paddle build to optimize a large sweet spot leaves me feeling like I'm playing pong - just trying to deflect the ball in the right direction.
I now play with a Bantam TS-5. The polymer honeycomb core is more responsive and the lighter weight allows for more finesse, but I don't lose out on power too much due to the fiberglass face (and I can't just drive every ball anyway

Z5 Onix: I like the control and ability to hit smash shots with more precision. I would give it 5 stars but I have had to dig out carbon/graphite splinters from my hand twice.

recent purchase: Very disappointed in this paddle. Even as a medium weight, felt very light. Not at all responsive. Even though sweet spot supposed to be large, was very small. The Z5 Is A Great Paddle For A Beginner : I'm not a paddle or a pickleball expert. I've been playing for a year, here and there but I was never serious about it. I had wood paddles that were good. Fine paddle : It’s hard to decide which paddle to get. I picked this one after trying out my friend’s. It’s great. Not sure I can articulate why. I’m an average player who plays for the exercise and competes with myself. Not a competitive player against others, particularly. Just try to do my best. The paddle is light and works well. I overwrapped the grip. There was no sizing on the grip and it was a smidge too small for my hand.

Z 5 graphite paddle: PB Central replaced my paddle that I ought 7 months ago. The trim pulled away from paddle. Made a call sent pictures and in about a week my new paddle was delivered no charge. Excellent customer service
Z5 is a solid intermediate Paddle: Z5 is a dependable paddle, it offer power and control.
Z5 was upgrade: Was using Their Stryker paddle. This is more power. Color is not as shown. Shows like a sunset but it's straight black and orange.

great timing, shipping materials not great: I love this website and you all have so much great info! I love the product I received. My only complaint is you packaged the raquet in a padded envelope that didn't have enough padding. The raquet arrived with a small indentation in the paddle. Not enough to return it, but for the price, I would love for it to have been perfect. Otherwise, great experience.
Great Paddle: Love this paddle. I started the game a year ago and used a basic paddle and felt I needed to try something different. I read the reviews on the Z5 and decided to try it. Z5 Graphite Paddle: The Z5 Graphite Paddle is a paddle to be reckoned with. It has both good power & awesome spin capabilities. BUT the most important thing for me is the Customer Service I received from Pickleball Central. The paddle I got in was damaged by the USPS. The handle was broken loose on one side. I called them & they sent a replacement right away. They will be the ONLY place I look for a anything Pickleball related.
