Not much control for me: I am a lower level intermediate player (just under 3.0). I ordered the swift version thinking that I would be able to react faster. However, I had to sacrifice control and had too many pop-ups. Perhaps that would not happen to me if I was a more advanced player. I also did not like the white handle but that is easy to replace. I returned the paddle.

Hyperion CFS 16mm: Had a $60 Dicks special for 2 months as a beginner. Upgraded to this paddle 30 days ago and immediately noticed the improved drives, touches at the net, topspin, etc... More power on hard serves to within a foot of the baseline. Have not experienced any issues with the handle. The grip will discolor from white to grey pretty quick. If you have the $200 this is a great paddle to combine power and control.

Excellent balanced qualities: I had two paddles - one that was heavy and designed for power. The other was light and had very good control. Both were getting old. I wanted a light control paddle with a wide sweet spot. This paddle has a great balance of properties. I liked it the first time I played with it. As I play more and adapt to the paddle, I like it even more. The only negative is aestetic. The white handle is excellent quality but will look nasty in a few more weeks of play.

I tried the CFS 16 Joola: It’s heavy and I’m a 205 6’4 individual. My initial reaction was excited to try. I played several games. In 1 I fell behind 8-1 with opponents I routinely have no problem hanging with. At 10-1 I went back to my regular paddle and lost by 2 points. It would have taken inordinate time to get it feeling right though I’ll never really know. Vastly different from the Head Gravity. Love This Paddle: It has a large sweet spot and a soft touch. It feels like a dream compared to my old paddle. My only criticism is that mine weighed in at 8.7 oz (over the range listed). Since I'd been playing with a 7.8 oz paddle prior, it's a bit of an adjustment. Nonetheless, it's already helping me improve my game. I highly recommend.
