Best indoor Balls for speed and spin: These are the best indoor balls if you are looking for spin and speed. They play the most like outdoor balls because of how stiff they are. Other brands like Penn, Onix and Franklin are softer so they are slower and easier to mold when hitting but they feel so different from the outside balls i'm use to (I play with x-40 and duras outside). If you are looking for that outdoor feeling ball but inside on a gym court, these are as close as you can get.

Gamma Photon Indoor Ball: Best Indoor Ball we use this for all our indoor tournaments. Depending on the color of the floor it (Lime Green) might not work. Our floors are light grey so it works fine. The color of the ball might not work as well on light colors. Other factors involve the lighting and floor walls. These are long lasting balls. Since they are softer you can add more spin and are better for lobbing.

Gamma Photon Indoor Balls: Our members found that this ball skids on the hardwood gym floor we play on (not as bad as the Franklin indoor ball that is unplayable for us), worse than the Onix, Jugs or Penn indoor ball. Jugs is much softer/slower than an outdoor ball, Penn is better but only comes in red and our colorblind members can't see it, and we are having durability issues with the Onix. Still looking for our club indoor ball.

not durable: Gamma Photon Indoor ball only lasted about an hour of play before it split at the seam. Like the way it comes off the paddle and plays more like the Dura outdoor ball. Needs to improve durability. Maybe get rid of the seam.

Highly visible: Most visible I've played with. I'm mostly an Onyx user. some at my gym loved them for that but we all agreed they seem softer and lighter weighted than the Onyx. Gamma Photon: Resisted cracking and were the closest to the Onix Pure balls that our group really liked. I am very pleased with the response from PickleballCentral after I described the problem we experienced with the Onix Fuse balls cracking after very little play. Jimmy Blue contacted me and replaced at no charge the 6 balls I originally purchased with 3 Gamma and 3 Franklin balls. Best Indoor Pickleballs: We have a group of Pickleballers that move indoors for the winter season. The courts are nice but everything is light colors. Walls, floor and surroundings.
