Thought this paddle would be “the one” — Pros: Liked the short handle, the small grip and the weight. — Cons: Disliked the paddle name and the graphic design. Hope this would be an upgrade from my old Gamma RZR, but for me, it didn’t hit with more power or accuracy.
Quick Draw! — Pros: This paddle has been my go to for over a year now. It has some great characteristics, first is defensive, the ability to reset and be ready for a quick exchange is fantastic. It has some power but since it is so light 7.6 oz, it’s best to add some weight with tape. Serves are line drives now right to the back line consistently. Touch is middle of the road but once you are comfortable you can keep most shots in. Spin is middle of the road but shows up when you hit it hard. The biggest deficit is dinks. It can be hard to reset fast shots to dink because the racket has a lot of pop but it gives me just enough control to muscle through to a win — Cons: Small tear drop shape can keep some shots just out of reach. Might be too light for some.
Perfect for me — Pros: Large sweet spot, middleweight, plenty of power. Great elongated shape. My game has improved mightily. — Cons: None so far.
Love my HellBender — Pros: I like the feel of this paddle. — Cons: To expensive! I know the mark up on these paddles and it’s bummer you all Jack the prices up so much
