GREAT PADDLE!!!!: I really enjoy this paddle. It has good balance and feels light in the hand. Easy to maneuver at the line with a decent amount of pop. Power isn’t bad for such a light feeling paddle, especially if you don’t have an issue generating power yourself. Wish they still made this model as the Icon 2 is different. Better than new version, Icon V2: I've had this paddle, but the black one for a long time now. I really loved it. But I do have 3-4 paddles that I like to go back and forth with. This is one of them. I have over a dozen paddles in the closet somewhere. I bought the newer Icon V2 and I don't like it as much as this paddle. If you like this paddle you might want to stock up before these original versions disappear.

Icon paddle: This was my 4th Icon paddle purchase because I loved my first ones (Miami Vice) so much! I decided to try a white one since the price was so tempting. But, the finish on the white one was very different. It was hard and slick, whereas the older Miami Vice Icons have a unique smooth velvety feel and are great for spin. Diadem Icon: Love the paddle performance. Only drawback is the replaceable edge guard. My top piece kept unsnapping. PBCentral had me return paddle and they replaced it. This edge guard is holding. My first premium paddle: I'm into PB for about 6 months, started with a basic heavy hard smooth surface paddle given to me as holiday present. Diadem Icon Lite: My playing background was Tennis (4.0). I just tried the Diadem Icon Lite Paddle. It is a fantastic paddle: all the power that I need and an amazing soft control. Diadem Icon Paddle: A friend of mine initially purchased a Diadem Icon paddle and let me try it out. My favorite paddles are still the Paddletek Tempest Wave Pro and the Paddletek Reign Pro. I was; however, pleasingly surprised by the Icon. It seems to lack some power; however, it had good control for drop shots and dinks.
