92Universal Acclaim

The CRBN 1 is overwhelmingly praised for its exceptional spin, control, and touch, with reviewers consistently highlighting its balanced power and soft feel across multiple thickness options. A small minority report durability concerns and weight issues, while one reviewer noted misleading color descriptions, but these are far outweighed by the paddle's strong performance credentials.

Paddle seems well built. Generate lots of spin and powe. Like the longer handl for 2 handed backhand shots. Handle coverin feels sticky in my hand, thus only 4 stars.: This is my first carbon fiber paddle so I have nothing else to compare it to, but I can already see a marked improvement in my game over my old graphite paddle.

Color: The color selection denotes the color of the lettering - not the paddle. A bit misleading. Was expecting a white paddle...got black. Annoyed.

CBRN-1 paddle : Love my new paddle. The 16mm thickness really softened up my game. The graphite surface places the balls where I intend them to go.

The CRBN1 14mm: Excellent paddle. The best control I’ve had in a paddle with impressive spin potential. It has power if you have the right swing, but it’s not a strength. I find drop shots so much easier with it.

CRBN 1 Review: I have only been playing pickleball for four months but decided to upgrade from a beginner paddle to this one because I am hooked on the sport. I find this paddle to have exceptionally good control, feel, spin, and touch. It is a comfortable paddle to play with as there is no harsh vibration even from shots that miss the sweet spot. I also was very pleased with the service from Pickleball Central. I received the product quickly and in perfect condition. There was even a personal n

Pretty awesome!: I have only been playing pickleball for a little over a year but as a former racquetball and tennis player, I am a bit of an equipment snob. I do my research and I like to buy the best. My first paddle was a Babolat MNSTR, followed by the Gearbox CX14E. The CRBN1 is the best by far because it feels like I have more control and power when I need it. I like a longer paddle handle and this one is the same length as my Gearbox. The only downside is that the grip is a bit bigger than

CRBN1 Carbon fiber paddle: I have been using this paddle for about 6 weeks now - 70 year old "rec" player, playing about twice per week. The carbon fiber is already starting to brake down on the face of the paddle. Also the paddle cover zipper broke after about 3 weeks. I might get 2 or 3 more months use out of this paddle before I replace it. The paddle looks good and feels good in your hand, but would not recommend this paddle due to its short life span. Not a good value at $144.00.

Game Improvement Paddle: I have a tennis background, but fairly new to pickleball (less than a year of casual playing). I’ve been struggling controlling the ball like I can in tennis, but this paddle has changed that. Not quite point and shoot, but significantly more control than my previous paddles which include Gamma Hellbender, Selkirk Invikta, other less expensive paddles. The power is very well balanced as well. I keep the ball in the court a lot more, but it has reserve power if needed

Awesome grit, a little heavy: Play tested the CRBN 1 and thought it was love at first sight. Pulled the trigger on a Black Friday Sale but I’m not sure if it’s my one true paddle after all. Great touch, amazing spin but a little heavier than I’m used to. I feel like I have to wail on the ball to put it away. If I were to do it again, I might opt for the 14 or 13 mm instead of the 16…that or I’ll just stick with my lighter, faster, a little bit poppier Pursuit MX 6.0 and miss out on the great(er)

From my perspective - thoughts: I like the grip length, but it is a bit small for my hand size. This paddle has a bit more power than the tempest reign Paddletek, but it still seems to lack the power that I find in Ben John's Joola. Good control, but I need control and power.

Pickleball Product Review: Great surface for spin on this paddle. I found this paddle a bit awkward for net play and dinking. Lots of power on drives. Perhaps a bit heavy for me.

CRBN1 paddle : I had a short list of paddles I wanted to try and picked the CRBN without any hesitation. Tried the Tempest, Electrum, Joola and CX14. It only took about 3 dinks before I knew this was the right fit. I liked all of the others but the CRBN had the right feel, sound, touch and power. I also liked the handle size and shape the best. This paddle has fantastic touch for the soft game and resets but also has good power on drives.

Great paddle: This is a fantastic paddle. I’ve been playing with the CRBN1 13mm for 1 month and decided I’d try the 16mm variation for use in doubles. I was pleasantly surprised that it had almost as much power as the 13, but with a larger sweet spot, better stability, and excellent when resetting. I just may use this paddle for singles as well. We’ll done CRBN.

Great Paddle - Good Spin, Pop & Touch: The CRBN1 is a really good paddle with exceptional spin. I was playing with the Electrum “E” when the CRBN 1 caught my attention. The surfaces (look, feel & grit) are nearly identical. Here’s where I am - the CRBN1 is an exceptional paddle in terms of pop, spin and touch. The Electrum “E” is the same in all of these characteristics. If you don’t have the “E”, I would def recommend giving the CRBN1 a try, esp if spin/top-spin is part of your game. The “E” an

Bought the second one just to have a back up. I’m finished looking for the right paddle. This is it!
